Privacy Policy for The System

TK Nexus (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the mobile application The System (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
By using The System, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect the following types of information:
- Username (chosen by you)
- Email address (optional, used for account recovery and notifications)
- Password (encrypted; we never see your plain-text password)
- Profile picture (optional, uploaded by you)
- Hunter rank, level, XP, and achievements
- Equipped items, frames, avatars, and titles
- Guild membership and guild messages
Usage Data
- Quests completed and daily streaks
- Workout, study, and activity logs you enter
- In-app interactions (follows, leaderboard position)
- Device push notification token (for sending alerts)
- App version and basic crash diagnostics
We do not collect your phone number, contacts, location, photos (outside what you upload), or browsing history.
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the App’s features (profile, leaderboard, guilds, quests)
- Send push notifications you’ve opted into (follow alerts, guild messages, season events)
- Display your public profile to other hunters (username, rank, equipped cosmetics)
- Improve the App’s functionality and fix bugs
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not show advertisements.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (hosted in the EU region).
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only in these limited cases:
- Public profile data (username, rank, level, equipped cosmetics) is visible to other users via leaderboard and profile screens
- Guild messages are visible to members of the same guild
- Service providers (Supabase for hosting, Firebase for push notifications) — they process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies
We do not share your email or private account details with other users.
5. AI Assistant
The System includes an in-app AI assistant. When a Hunter sends a message (typed or voice) to the assistant:
- The message text, your current hunter stats (level, XP, rank, streak), and the titles of your current quests are sent to our backend (Supabase Edge Functions).
- The backend forwards the message to Groq Inc. (https://groq.com), which runs a large language model to generate a reply.
- For voice messages, the recorded audio is uploaded to our backend and forwarded to Groq’s Whisper transcription service. The audio file is not retained after transcription.
- Groq does not retain message content by default and uses it only to process the request. See Groq’s privacy policy: https://groq.com/privacy-policy/
- Voice and AI features are completely optional and only activated when initiated by the user.
You can use the app fully without using the AI assistant. The assistant only sends data when you explicitly use it.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — visible in-app on your Profile screen
- Update your data — edit profile, username, equipped items in-app
- Delete your account — contact us at the email below and we will delete all your data within 30 daysUsers may request deletion by emailing: karimdiab7800@gmail.com
- Opt out of notifications — disable in your phone’s app settings
7. Children’s Privacy
The System is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses these services:
- Supabase — database and authentication https://supabase.com/privacy
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
- Google Play Services — required for Android functionality
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
